"No More CATCH & RELEASE"

I like to think I have a secure home; I have two dogs, not little dogs, and several firearms. All of our doors are double locked along with our windows. Any intruder who enters our house will probably not have a very pleasant time between the dog bites and the 12 gauge. Most of the folks down here in the “sticks” believe in self-protection. I like our county and city police, but I would rather have a gun in my hand than a telephone, if I’m facing an armed intruder. I would also like not shooting someone, if I can avoid it. To those of you that think gun owners are blood-thirsty, I’m sure that statement is a shock, but we really don’t want to kill anybody, and we don’t want anybody KILLING US!

I look at America like a “giant house” with all the security problems that face every home owner, from pests to “perps”, and fires to floods. We want to maintain a secure America, just like a secure home!

Have any of you heard of the Secure Communities Department of Homeland Security? This department is designed to identify jailed aliens who are “deportable”. This program is now in effect in 1,595 different jurisdictions in 44 states and U.S. territories. By 2013, I.C.E. plans to have the entire country involved in this plan. I like this plan. If we can find criminal illegal aliens already in custody, in our jails, then sending them back to their legal home or to a long prison term will be that much easier. I’m sure Joe Arpaio will endorse the use of this program, and he is about the only person in law enforcement who has been vocal about criminal illegal aliens in their incarceration and deportation.

Strangely, there are some folks who aren’t too happy about sending criminal illegal aliens back to their homes, or to jail. Now, of course you know those leftist anti-American amnesty nuts will be against this, but there are also elected officials who think it is a good idea to overlook this infestation of crime, and turn a “blind eye” to criminal acts.

Andrew Cuomo, the Governor of New York, and Deval Patrick, the Governor of Massachusetts said they oppose this program. I guess, being Democrats, they see this as a pool of potential Democrat supporters, and they certainly don’t want to offend them! Some of those “immigrant’s rights groups” are objecting to the fact that some of those who may be deported have no “criminal record”. Isn’t sneaking into the United States of America a crime; and not just a local ordinance, but a Federal crime? Once again, I must state these people are CRIMINALS, and they are breaking into the HOUSE OF AMERICA, EVERY DAY!!!

If by some stroke of fortune, these criminal illegal aliens are taken into custody for some other infraction of the law, it is their hard luck, but it is America’s good fortune, because we didn’t have to go out looking for them. If a police officer stops a person for a traffic violation, and later finds out that person is an armed robber; guess what, he goes to jail as an armed robber, the more severe charge! The same rules should apply to CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS!!

I know that New York and Massachusetts are a long way from our southern borders, and they are a long way from main stream American thinking too, but they will have to realize that if this policy of “tolerating an invasion” continues, we will suffer from an open door to terrorists and violent criminals. The ones we catch must go back; sorry about the loss of so many Democrats!!
