"Pseudo-Monarchy!"

This week marks the beginning of Barack Obama’s second term of office. Monday was the great ceremony as Obama and Biden embarked on a quest to take away the second amendment rights of millions of American citizens while ignoring the rights of babies being murdered on a daily basis. There were cheering crowds as Obama spoke, although most of those cheering hadn’t a clue of anything outside of platitudes and slogans, and no real idea of the ideology of Obama, even after four years of attacks on the Constitution and policies directed solely on increasing the size of government and diminishing the rights of the individual.

Obama is dedicated to increase the debt ceiling, even without Congressional approval, and he has already issued a plethora of Executive Orders to destroy the second amendment. Those who thought about a Barack Obama that would be able to work with the Republicans in Congress; well, that isn’t going to happen, as he obviously is continuing on his quest for a pseudo monarchy under his rule.

Obama compared himself to Lincoln as he spoke. If “Honest Abe” could hear Obama, I’m sure he would “spin like a top” as Lincoln was a great respecter of the Constitution as it was written, and Obama regards the Constitution as an obstacle for himself. This is the same man that tried to compare himself to Ronald Reagan not very long ago. Obama is obviously delusional!

What can we now expect in the next four years? Obama pandered to the illegal aliens, so I’m sure we will see even more of our tax dollars spent on programs to make life easier for those who committed a crime just to get here, and continue to rob legal Americans every day.

I don’t know when we will see a budget, as we have waited over four years for the Senate to approve one under Harry Reid (D-Nev). We have yet to see our President put any pressure on our current budget crisis, yet he is very willing to INCREASE THE DEBT CEILING! He has made it clear that government entitlements are not to be touched in budget cuts, as welfare recipients are certainly huge supporters of this “Welfare President”.

I wonder if Obama will resurrect George W. Bush again. I am sure we will see more blame game tactics from Obama as we will see his economic programs continue to go down in flames.

All of the Balls are over, and the bands have stopped playing; nobody is “lip-sinking” the National Anthem now, and the cheering crowds are now quiet. After the party, it’s time to clean up the mess and the mess belongs to Barack Obama.

Don’t worry, all of you Obama supporters; when all else fails, you can always holler “racism” when Barack makes another mistake and is called out by honest journalists.

My hope is that America is strong enough to last through four more years of Barack Hussein Obama without too much damage to our Constitution; after all, we have a Congressional Election in two more years, and who knows, maybe “impeachment”. We can only hope; God Bless America!

"Every 90 Seconds!"

Next week we will be honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for his contribution to America’s Civil Rights movement. There will be numerous speeches and statements made about Dr. King from politicians and activists all over the nation.

The roots of the civil rights movement rest in our Constitution and its first ten amendments, the Bill of Rights, upon which all of our freedom rests. Civil rights are the issue, the belief that those amendments should be available to every American citizen and should not be INFRINGED UPON by any person, organization, or oppressive government.

The “hot button issue” of today seems to be “gun control” because of some terrible gun incidents in recent weeks. We have seen several people, both adults and children, lose their lives due to illegal use of firearms by those of diminished capacity. These are tragic incidents and we should all be disturbed by them. It now seems that these incidents are being politicized by many on the left in an effort to attack our second amendment rights. It is abhorrent that people have died, and I don’t want to lessen this terrible loss of life, yet, I don’t want to see the intentions of our Founding Fathers misinterpreted for political gains.

I find it interesting that these same people who seem so concerned about the deaths caused by gun violence are showing absolutely no concern about another form of murder that occurs every 90 seconds of every day in our nation, 400 deaths an hour, if you want to keep count.

The victims are forced from a place of comfort, and pulled out by force while all of their connections to survival are severed with sharpened knives and clamps. If they happen to survive the attack, they are left out to succumb to their wounds without emergency treatment. These victims are totally innocent of any crime; they are murdered because others don’t want them to exist. This is a more efficient “murder machine” than the NAZI Death Camps.

What is being described above is the “legal abortion system” of the United States of America. Hundreds of thousands of innocent children are having their civil right to exist stolen from them in murderous abortion clinics all across this nation as casually as ordering a burger at a fast food restaurant. I wonder how Dr. King would feel about these civil rights infringements.

This system of child murder goes on silently every day as an accepted business in our so-called civilized America. Our President endorses this system of murder, yet he defiles our right to bear arms, quite a paradox don’t you think?

If we want to remove a really violent practice in America we should consider abortion before we take firearms away from honest citizens. If we look at the numbers, it is a “no-brainer”, unless of course, you are only interested in making “political hay”!

"Once Upon a Time!!"

How many of you had “fairy tales” read to you as a young tot? They always started with the words “once upon a time” and always ended with “they lived happily ever after”. These stories usually had handsome princes, beautiful maidens, witches and magical lands. Some of these stories had evil villains who were trying to oppress simple villagers and steal all of their possessions and their freedoms.

I would like to tell you all a “fairy tale” today.

Once upon a time, there were some villagers who sailed to a far off land to flee from an evil king who wanted to control their lives by taxing them without the benefit representation, and occupying their new land with soldiers who enforced all of the evil king’s laws.

After many years, the villagers could no longer stand the oppressive king and rebelled against him with great fury. Villagers from all over the land formed an army that drove the evil king’s soldiers away; they armed themselves with their own weapons, as each person had the right to own those weapons and because they were armed, they were able to protect themselves from a bad ruler.

After the evil king was removed, the villagers got all of their wisest leaders together to form a document for a new government which would guard all of the villager’s rights from those who might try to take those rights away. Months and months went by before a document all could agree on was accepted. They called the document “The Constitution of the United States of America”, and it was lauded the world over for over 200 years.

The villagers had many happy generations under the rules and laws established under this fine document; even when it had to be defended in armed conflict and blood had to be shed.

Leader after leader followed this document scrupulously as it was a great trust to guard the individual rights of all the villagers.

Life in the land wasn’t always easy, but everyone had a chance to be a success; although this wasn’t a guarantee. Even after a great economic trauma, the land flourished because the individuals rose to the occasion and helped to restore the economy by investing in the people and their ability to bounce back toward success.

After many leaders who believed in the great document, the villagers elected a leader who had very different ideas about the great document. He said things about the document that were never said before, things like the document was no longer applicable in today’s world and he would like additional powers to “compensate” for the shortcomings of the document. He appointed many “czars” to oversee his new direction for the villager’s rights. Slowly but surely, the rights of the villagers were being altered to fit the new leader’s ideas of what each individual’s rights should be; all the way down to what they could eat!

Now there is talk of allowing the new leader to be able to serve more than the “constitutional limits” than the document permits; and some people are considering this. The leader is now sounding like a monarch instead of an elected official, and the “fairy tale” is turning into a tragedy.

If we, as a people, don’t put a stop to this pursuit of absolute power from Barack Obama, there will be no “they lived happily ever after” for America. Remember, he is not a king!!!

No post this week, I'm fighting the flu, and I think the flu is winning!
