"Playing on a Level Field; I Don't Know?"

Last year the "Green Bay Packers" won the Super Bowl. This was played on a neutral field so neither team would have an unfair advantage. It appears that the "Packers" have an inside track to this years' "Big Game" once again; thus far, they are undefeated. All of my "Packer Friends" must be very happy. There is possibly one thing that could make them happier; if the game was played in Lambeau Field, in Green Bay Wisconsin. I guess that would kind of "stack the deck" for the Packers. I would feel the same way if the Bears would play that game in "Soldier Field".

Most Americans like the idea of "fair play' in all contests. Not too long ago, an NBA referee was found to be taking bribes to change the course of a game, and the league and the fans didn't take it lightly. Pete Rose isn't getting into the Hall of Fame because of his gambling problems, as they cast a shadow on the integrity of his game. For years, boxing has had the reputation of being "dirty" when it came to "fixed fights". Americans don't like any "rigged" contests.

I remember our last Presidential election in 2008; and I remember allegations of voter fraud and voter intimidation during that election. The most vivid incident I remember, as I have mentioned it before, is the "New Black Panthers" who stood outside a polling place carrying batons and hurling epithets at people as they entered. The entire incident was captured on video, without any editing. This behavior broke numerous laws in regards to polling place behavior; yet, Eric Holder chose not to prosecute these thugs, men who interfered with our most precious franchise. We must remember this interesting fact!

On December 13th, our Attorney General, Eric Holder said the United States election system must be free of discrimination and attempts at political gain. He said he will fully enforce civil rights protection in next years' election; what a champion of justice! He went on to say ,"We need elections that are free from fraud, discrimination and partisan influence--and are more, not less, accessible to the citizens of this country"! I find Mr. Holder's new grasp on voter's rights astounding; especially, since he failed to prosecute voter intimidation in the last election! This is typical of Holder and the entire Obama administration; who freely trade in hypocrisy so well! Holder is currently having his veracity challenged in Congressional Investigating Committees, so I don't put much stock in what he holds as truthful or ethical. Perhaps his little speech is to put a better face on himself to America, maybe? I personally think it is Mr. Holder's way of trying to get a better "playing field" for himself and his boss, Barack Obama. What do you think, Hmm...?
