Dear friends, we are gathered here to
bid farewell to one who has been a great friend to so many; the number is
almost too high to count. He is survived by those who have stood close to him
for lo, these many years. Originally, there was his father George, mother
Martha and thirteen brothers from all different parts of the country. His
family has grown to fifty; all who kept his memory dear up to his end this
year. He was known for his contributions to individual freedom and defense of
liberty across the world. He empowered millions to reach their full potential
through his commitment to individual freedom. He has come to the aid of all
those who were in distress from war and natural disasters, without any motive
for profit of any kind.
He was born on September 17, 1787 in a
courthouse, surrounded by relatives who left him with a collection of values
that became the envy of the world. He passed quietly in June of 2012 in the
Supreme Court of the United States, when individual freedom was dealt a deadly
blow from those who sought to take personal rights away in favor of an
ideological philosophy that takes choice away. The deceased’s name is the
Constitution of the United States of America. The departed lasted 236 years
before succumbing to an attack from those who sought to destroy individual
choice and the free market economy and take control of the lives of all
Americans. I hope our dear friend rests in peace; we will not see his like
again.
My fellow Americans, what I have
written above can be a view of what will become of America if we continue on
the path we have taken thus far under Barack Obama, and those who chose to
follow his precepts.
On Wednesday, we celebrated
Independence Day, America’s birthday, our chance to cheer for the American way
of life which we enjoy, courtesy of our Constitution and the blood that was
shed by thousands of Americans over the course of history. We, the people, are
America for now, yet our federal government is more and more trying to take the
people’s place as the granters of rights and freedoms.
I wasn’t sure what I would write on
the cusp of this holiday week, until I realized the jeopardy our nation now
faces, and then I thought a eulogy may help some people understand the dire
circumstance that we now face as a free people. Over the last nearly four years,
we have seen individual rights erode at an alarming rate, and the Bill of
Rights directly threatened by an oppressive Chief Executive who believes he is
above the Constitution.
Four more years of Barack Obama could
very well mean the death of our Constitutional rights, and a radical change in
what it means to be a citizen of the United States of America. We could lose
our identity as a republic, governed by its people, and we could be the
servants to an all powerful socialist dictatorship who answers to no one but
itself.
It will be up to all of the free
thinking American citizens to decide whether this eulogy becomes reality in
November of 2012. Keep freedom; defeat Barack Hussein Obama!!!
